1. Make a list of everyone you need to shop for.

2. When you are out shopping, make sure you are equipped with store coupons. Such as % off or $ off coupons. I was recently at the Mall and there were coupons to be found for all your favorite stores. If you do not already have a coupon, ask the sales associate if they know of any current coupons or promotion that your favorite store is participating in.

3. Save your receipts in a safe spot in case item goes on sale, or you change your mind on the gift giving.

4. Use manufacturer coupons on DVDs, toys and more!

5. Don't buy something just because it is on sale--make sure you know what you are going to do with the item before you buy it.

6. Practical gifts can be great for the newly married couple, college student or other young adult. You can score, cheap laundry detergent, fabric softener for practically nothing if you use your coupon shopping skills and shop sale ads. Put items in a laundry basket and some new towels--you can find on some clearance, or inexpensive ones at Kohl's for instance.

7. Save money by not buying for yourself!

8. When you get home, wrap, label and make a list of what you bought and for whom. That way you won't forget what is in the box--believe me you will think you won't forget buy you will... because of the Holiday Brain Disability! (LOL)

9. Shop with a friend. This can help you both become accountable, save on gas, and have a fun girls night or day out!

10. Pack water bottles and snacks for on-the-go marathon shopping. You do not want to be forced to pay high prices for water, just because of poor planning.
