Shop Smarter
The temperatures are rising which means that summer is right around the corner. Time to break out the shorts, skirts, tank tops and sandals. But alas, having fun in the sun comes with precautions. The last thing you want after a fun day at the beach is peeling the blistering skin off your back.
I've compiled a list of five summer first-aid essentials to get you ready for lazy summer days and hot summer nights.

Camping here I come! I've got my regular list of things to pack and it's long. Included are toilet paper, sleeping bags, tent, flashlights and the list goes on and on. It's definitely a chore to get everything together, but once I'm at the campground, tent set up, ahh...heaven!

September is one of the nicest times of years to go camping. It's not too warm but not too hot in most parts of the country. And my favorite part of camping is the food!
Here are a few yummy snacks for you to enjoy:

You're lost. You're in a big city like L.A. and you make a quick stop at the nearest gas station to get directions. The attendant tells you to go west on Wilshire then south on Highway 1 down a way and hook back west to find that Tex-Mex restaurant you want to try out. Question is, which way is west? But before you can ask for further detailed directions, there's a huge line formed behind you.
Not everyone has a good sense of direction. That's why tools such as MapQuest are so popular. But what if you're a naturalist and love to go camping and hiking. You can't MapQuest a beaten-trail path. If you wander off too far you can get lost rather quickly in a National Park.
I know just the right gadget for you.
