Waste not, want not! One of the best ways to save money is to make use of what you already have. It's likely that every year you've simply tossed your pumpkin in the trash without giving it much thought, but it can have a second life if you make a little effort.

The big day is Monday or maybe some of you are celebrating this weekend. There are a few great Halloween recipes you can make for your get together. Just download the e-cookbooks to make Yummy Mummy Dogs, Bloody Witch's Fingers. The kids would have a great time making some crazy faced sugar cookies and it's not a party without Spiderlicious Punch!

There is even a e-cookbook with 18 pumpkins recipes. I know this one is more Thanksgiving than Halloween, but I love everything pumpkin! On the list is a freebie event from Bass Pro Shops that wasn't on my previous Halloween freebie list. It looks like a great event for little ones.

A few years ago I was invited to a grown-up Halloween party. I spent weeks trying to figure out the perfect costume, one that would properly reflect my personality. Sure, I thought about Star Trek uniforms and Jedi robes, but those seemed kind of on-the-nose...and expensive.

Frankenstein, Dracula, Mummy and Werewolf are retired. No, seriously, quit their kill-innocent-people night jobs. They are tired of villagers with pitchforks chasing them out of town. Dracula dreads that next "stake-in-heart" near fatal incident. The Mummy and Frankenstein's feet ache from stomping about and Werewolf wants to chill…arrooo!

This Halloween the gruesome foursome will relax on a sofa, sit next to a warm fire (the Mummy, not so much) and drink blood or snack on flesh and watch the top ten most popular horror movies of all time courtesy of Netflix.
