Recently,
Samoa Air started to charge by weight. What this means is that you would pay for what you weigh and what you want to carry on, as in bags. How it works: you would go on their site and guesstimate your weight and get a rough idea of your total trip cost. But it doesn't stop there, once you get to the airport you will be weighted again, so there is no room for white lies or fibbing.
While this may sound very attractive to people who are on the lower weight side or business travelers who may not need to carry a lot of bags, for those that are on the heavier side, this may be a form of "concern bullying" as many media outlets have put it.

A wise relative who works for an enterprise storage company once
told me, "There are two kinds of people: Those who have lost data,
and those who will lose data."
Strong words, but I believe them. I'm in the former camp, and
trust me when I say there are few things in life as gut-wrenchingly
awful as losing precious documents, photos, emails, and other
files.
This kind of data disaster can result from just about
anything: fire, flood, theft, hard-drive failure, or even a
havoc-wreaking virus.

Organizing your home could have many different meanings to you depending on your lifestyle. It could be as simple as putting your shoes in order or as complex as getting your last 5 years of tax receipts and categorizing it alphabetically by category and year (
for me this is difficult).

If you're anything like us, the arrival of spring conjures up images of open windows, sun-filled days and, of course, spring cleaning our finances.
Even if that last one's not on your list of 'Top 10 Reasons to Celebrate Spring', it should be. That's because the arrival of a new season is a great excuse to do some tidying up—both in your house and with your finances.

Amazon Instant Video. Hulu Plus. Netflix. These big-three video
services get all the ink, but there's another source for TV and
movies you might want to check out.
It's called
Crackle, and it's free.
Though you've probably never heard of it, Crackle's been around
since 2007, when it was acquired by Sony (and known as Grouper).
For the past two years or so, the service's primary claim to fame
was streaming episodes of "Seinfeld."
However, Crackle just joined the big leagues (in my humble opinion)
by
adding the first two seasons of "The Shield,"
the Emmy-winning FX cop show that only recently came to Amazon.
Of course, you need an Amazon Prime account ($79 annually) if you
want to watch the show there.

Getting started in April means more time to plan, save money and have an amazing holiday this year! Here are a few tips to get you saving money for the holidays.
1. Get a piece of paper, the note app on your phone, Word document, Excel spreadsheet....whatever helps you get organized and make a list of the people you want to buy gifts for this year. Whether you only shop for five people or 200, it's best to have your list when getting organized and planning out your shopping strategy.
2. Once you have your list of people, start writing down some ideas of what each person likes or would like. Once you have this, the rest is a piece of Christmas Cake!
