Pasta! Inexpensive, right? Any day of the week, you can buy a 6 pound bag of pasta for about five bucks. (Sam's Club Penne is $4.98 for 6 pounds.) Well, I love fresh pasta. Fresh, handmade pasta with fresh flavors, fresh ingredients and better still - it's CHEAPER! I can make a 6 pound recipe for $3.34!
My favorite dish to make is probably the easiest and certainly has been made for centuries. Angelhair Pomodoro. It starts with fresh, simple, easy to find ingredients and ends with love. It's delicious, fast, nutritious and--at about $1.18 per serving--downright cheap! Savings indeed.
