Tips for the Non-Oenophile Wine Enthusiast

If you are uncertain as to what that long O word is after “Non,” congratulations–you are my target audience! An oenophile is a lover and connoisseur of all things wine. He lives, breathes and obsesses about the stuff. He loves reading about new rock star winemakers, can recite every vineyard in Burgundy, and actually cares about what type of wood went into wine barrels for a particular wine.

I have very little use for such people. I am far more interested in spreading the word among the masses, the people who enjoy a nice glass of vino, but don’t have the time or inclination to pour over wine ratings or study brix levels. People who don’t want to spend a ton of money on their wine, and definitely don’t want to waste what money they do spend. Enter Savings.com video wine tips! Tip #1: Prolonging the life of a bottle of wine.

Tip #2: Save money by shopping secondary labels.
