So we've switched it up a little and instead of someone else writing about Coffee with Erik, I've gotten the honor to write my own blog on Savings.com.  What does this mean?  Well in addition to my weekly music video at the bottom, you get to hear what's going on in my world and how a musician who knows the meaning of saving a buck goes about his daily purchases.  So this week I'm going to talk about promo codes and how there's one for everything you buy...seriously.  Oh and most importantly how to find them.

So you're probably thinking what's there to say about promo codes and my response is this...THEY ARE EVERYWHERE.  I'd say almost 95% of sites that have a shopping cart on them have a little box that says enter your promo code or coupon code.  And you know what that means...they are out there, they exist.  Now you're going to tell me that you've searched Savings.com, you've Googled it, you've even looked at some other coupon sites and can't find a thing.  Well that's ok cuz they are out there...go the extra mile.  What's my next move?  I sign up for their email list.  Nothing says "I love your site" more than when you sign up to receive updates from them so what do they do in return, they send you deals.  And you'd be surprised how quickly they'll throw a code in one.

I recently wrote and recorded my second album, and when it came to printing a couple thousand copies of the CD it can got extremely expensive.  But I knew these CD duplication sites are also very competitive with one another.  So after signing up for a few catalogs and pricing them out I was sent a $200 Off Coupon from DiscMakers.com.  Let's just say I'm pretty sure you know which one I chose.  So go that extra mile and find that code...it's worth the extra five minutes and can save you a ton.
