Savings Secrets: 8 ways to listen to your favorite tunes for free

I’m obsessed with music. Seriously…I’m a complete music junkie. I have playlists for almost every style of music from Modern Reggae to Beethoven. If it’s music, then it’s probably on a playlist of mine. I’ve got everything from “dude, you have to listen to this,” to “I know…..please don’t judge.” And the best part about music these days? There are so many options for playing your favorite music for free.

If you’re up for having to deal with a commercial every so often, there are plenty of sites that you can use to listen to music for absolutely free. Here are eight of the top ways to listen to music for free online.

1. Spotify

2. Pandora
3. GrooveShark

4. Jango

5. Audiolizer

6. Live365

8. Slacker

And if you have a Blu-Ray player, PS3, Xbox of Wii, some of these are even available to play through your TV for free. Just check under the music section when you’re logged in.

So far my favorites are definitely Spotify, Pandora and Slacker Radio. All work really well, especially air-playing through my speakers in the house…..and I totally crank those up to shake the house on a daily basis! :)

Do you have a favorite way to play your tunes for free? Have you used any of these sites and have one that you prefer? Tell us about it in the comment section!
