I shop online all day long with Savings.com, and occasionally I actually leave the house to buy things locally. But from Thanksgiving till Christmas I try to avoid the crowds at the stores as much as possible. And let's face it, there are plenty of people in this modern world who are not really friends or family members but who you feel compelled to get gifts for.
Gift cards are the perfect gift for these folks, and if you buy the right ones you can get a free lunch or more on top of the gifts for your acquaintances.
Ben & Jerry's will give you a free scoop of ice cream with purchase of a $10 gift card.

McCormick & Schmick and/or
Wolfgang Puck's.

Hooters,
IHOP,
Joe's Crab Shack,
Macaroni Grill,
Red Robin,
TGI Fridays, and
Uno Grill (Pizzeria Uno).
Hardee's is basically Carl's Jr little brother, they give you a Little Thickburger with a $20 gift card. I think that's the same as the Six Dollar Burger.

Ruth's Chris Steak House offers a 10% bonus for any gift card order of $250 or more, and this would be a nice gift, even for people like in-laws, as long as they aren't vegan.
Starbucks requires you to use your Visa card, but then when you buy 4
e-Gifts you will get a $5 bonus gift card.
Souplantion/Sweet Tomatoes will give you a free meal with any $50 gift card.
Starbucks requires you to use your Visa card, but then when you buy 4 e-Gifts you will get a $5 bonus gift card.

Some of these deals are available online exclusively, or in store only. You'll have to check out the websites for specifics. Looking at some of these offers, I think I can check all my extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, co-workers and office friends off my list in one fell swoop. Buy about a dozen Starbucks cards to cover anyone you forgot, or didn't realize you were supposed to get a gift for, including your mail carrier, building super, and/or landlord, and use any left-over's yourself.
I am working my way to a holiday shopping season in which I can do all my shopping this way. Everyone I know will get gift cards or products featuring "As Seen on TV" as a selling point.
Know of any other restaurant or retail gift card bonus offers, list them in the comments.
Nice list. I use to buy Olive Garden or PF Chang for son. Not sure if they have any special offers though.
