It's been a year of interesting and clever gadgets and some utter not-so-clever gadgets we won't mention. A few cool gadgets of 2010 however caught our attention.

Typing. Only folks living in the dark ages don't type or people who live in the modern age and use Voice Recognition Software type very little. It's comfortable, lightweight at one pound and has a nano transceiver that allows the keyboard to stay connected to the computer no matter what room you are in. Comes in two colors, white priced under $30 and black at around $40.

Another electronic gadget you can travel about in the house is the Sony Dash. This small little wonder connects with the wireless network in your home to streamline movies online, get weather information, traffic, do your social networking listen to music and about 1,500 other applications you can download. If everyone's using all the computers in the house this little smart phone-like gadget keeps you connected to the internet just the same. Priced a little steep at around $200.

Do you have a small monitor at home for your computer? Wish you could put all the information on your computer and watch it on your big television? Western Digital WD TV Media Player allows you via network connection at home play almost any type of media you have on your computer such as steam videos, look at photos or play music onto your TV set. You can also stream movies from online rental companies. The wave of the future is affordable at under $100.

If you don't want the whole household to listen to your music, then try Diddybeats. These fashionable electronic ear buds have made waves among the celebrities. Tangle-free wires that hook up to your smart phone and other media players give you a crisp quality sound. Also hands-free calling ability for you smart phone--but for this high quality you pay a high price: At under $200.
