Every Day is "Black Friday"

Although the Christmas creep has been causing an ongoing battle between Jack Frost and Jack-o-Lanterns, the traditional start of the holiday shopping season has been the day after Thanksgiving, aka "Black Friday." But according to an article on Mainstreet, Black Friday has morphed into "Black November".

I don't know about y'all--but I'd much rather watch a marathon of "According to Jim" than to be anywhere near a shopping mall the day after Thanksgiving or the day after Christmas. Yes, I know there are bargains galore, but the crush of the crowds, long lines and slow cashiers aren't worth the rock-bottom prices and door-busting (literally--crowds crushed a Wal-mart security guard to death last year...) deals as far as I'm concerned.

A much better way to handle holiday shopping is to do as much as possible online. No crowds, no lines, no hassles. And you can still score awesome deals and savings with online coupons here at Savings.com.

According to our sales team,

"There's a lot of early buzz this year amongst shoppers and retailers about Black Friday sales and Cyber Monday deals. Many retailers waited too long to release deals last year and had difficulty clearing out their holiday inventory. In an effort to promote early shopping and prevent a repeat of 2008, we can expect to see heavy discounts and promotions from big box stores, like Target, Walmart, Kohls and Macy's."

To keep abreast of all the upcoming holiday deals and promotions, become a fan of Savings on Facebook, follow us on Twitter and keep checking in with the blog! There will be contests, giveaways and an abundance of dynamite deals in the upcoming days.

So, what deals are you looking forward to most come Black Friday and the holiday shopping season? Let us know in the poll and tell us about your Black Friday or day after Christmas shopping experiences--both horrifying and glorious!--in the comments.
