October is Breast Cancer Awareness month which was created to educate everyone about the importance of getting regular mammograms to check for the common cancer. With early detection, 95% of patients survive which magnifies the importance of regular check-up. One in eight women in the United States will develop breast cancer in her lifetime which is 12% too many. In order to raise money and awareness for research, many companies are offering special promotions during the month of October.
