Contest Alert: Salute to Heroes $200 Sears Shopping Spree

While newly expectant mothers and parents alike can be considered incredibly caring and daring embarking on their newest adventures, there is also a large group of individuals who can definitely be considered among the elite in bravery. Police officers, members of the Military, Veterans, Firefighters, Teachers and Hospital staff perform vital tasks on a daily basis. Not only are they all influencing the lives of those around them, but they are constantly creating history and making a difference by devoting a selfless amount of time to aid those around them.

Given all that the members of these crucial service professions do for America, we are proud to partner with Sears in their Salute to Heroes promotion.  Not only is Sears giving an additional 10% off to members in service professions at a special sale tomorrow, September 25th, they've given us a $200 gift card to honor one lucky local hero. It's time to give back to those who have been helping us throughout time in protecting, teaching and risking their lives to save ours.

Are you a hard-working, dedicated member of the military (or veteran), police person, fire fighter, teacher or hospital staffer?  Or, do you have a family member or friend who works in a service profession and would not only love this card, but truly deserves it?

We are adding a twist to this week's giveaway, by offering two ways of entering:  The first is open to those who are employed in the service community of America. Additionally, if you'd like to enter as a non-serviced employee, please comment on this post by stating how you would intend to share the Sears gift card with a family member or friend who is a part of one of the aforementioned groups.

To enter to win this prize all you have to do is review our contest rules and comment on this post telling us which service profession you work in, or about the local hero you'd like to win the $200 shopping spree for, by the end of next Thursday, September 30th. On Friday, October 1st, we'll announce the winner.
