Finding a good blogger isn't easy. It's especially difficult if you're looking for someone who can help you find the best deals in your area. Since many of the supermarkets I shop at are local chains, I have to scour the weekly ads myself in order to find out what's on sale.
Well, now there is a way to find someone near you who can help with those coupon hunts.
Bargain Briana launched the
Frugal Map to "help readers find their perfect blog match." A noble goal!
The state-by-state interactive map allows you to easily find a deal-hunting blogger near your location. And if you're looking for a national deal, the search function allows you to search multiple "frugal" blogs at once. You can also find details on specific bloggers and deals for specific stores--everything from
Target to
CVS--or check out the RSS feed or Twitter account (
@frugalmap) to see what the hottest deals are across the Frugal Map. If you're new to deal hunting, you can learn about Coupons 101, which explains common terms and abbreviations used by frugal bloggers.
The site also profiles
frugal bloggers, who share their tips and the stories behind how they got their start. If you are a blogger yourself, you can submit an application to be included on the map.
So pop on by, and see if there is another deal-hunter in your area. You will be saving yourself time and money!
