Down the Rabbit Hole with the Dell Looking Glass Tablet

A couple of weeks ago we wrote a post about how HP was coming out with the HP Slate tablet PC to compete with the Apple iPad.  Looks like Dell is doing the same.  Reports have shown leaks of Dell's plans to release a Tablet PC later this year called the Dell Looking Glass.  Guy and I have the juicy details (which are really just rumors that we're dressing up to be juicy details) right here for you:

Proposed features include:

• Android operating system on a Tegra 2 processor
• Optional TV tuner meaning you can watch TV on it (obviously)
• 7" 800 x 480 display
• 4GB of RAM with extra 4GB flash storage
• 1.3 Megapixel camera

In addition to these features, you'll also get music/video playback options, messaging options to keep in touch with your friends (Guy:  Yasar plans on using the Looking Glass to make his first friends...), web browser, touch screen, and more.  If you want more details check out the Dell Looking Glass Tablet leak on Engadget.

For those of you who want a smaller version of the tablet, ZDnet has details on the Dell Streak.  It's basically a smaller version of the Looking Glass that is going to be competing with the iPhone.
