If you're like me, you can't cook to save your life and you're exceptionally cheap. Okay---you're probably not like me, but I'm sure you appreciate saving money, right? Of course you do!

For me the holidays have historically been about bouncing around between Denny's and IHOP, but this year I've decided to try something new. Not only am I attempting to host a great holiday meal without cooking any of it, I'm trying to do it for cheap. Impossible, you say? Hold your tongue, doubting Thomases!

Here's how you can accomplish this feat with a few quick clicks on Savings.com:

  1. Check out our Harry and David specials like this one to save 30% off select items. Nothing says, "Look Mom, I'm successful!" like an assortment of fruits, nuts, truffles and chocolates as a centerpiece snack. The "Tower of Treats" does not disappoint. This isn't a measly column, spire or even an obelisk of treats. Oh no, this is a "TOWER of Treats"--and at 30% off, that's a steal!

  2. At The Fruit Company, save 16% off all items. With 16% off all items, you've got the entire inventory to choose from! Prepare to dedicate some time to this, because if you're like me (I know we've established you're not, but bear with me...) you have a huge sweet tooth! I finally reconciled my fruity cravings with the Cheesecake Sampler. Strawberry, Raspberry, Apple Crisp and the pretentious Marionberry (blackberry) all get together and throw a party. Lucky for you, they invite your taste buds. Okay, I know that joke was cheesy...but I'm talking about CHEESECAKE here, so give me a break!

  3. Receive 15% off at Cherry Moon Farms AND get a Free Cookie. You've got to be kidding me--that's just awesome! To this day whenever I go into a supermarket, I immediately beeline to the bakery so that I can snag one of those almost stale free cookies designated for "obedient children". Now you're telling me I don't need to go to a supermarket and deal with questionable looks as I wait impatiently behind a four year-old who can't decide which cookie has more chocolate chips? I can just sit at my computer save some money and wait for deliciousness to be shipped to the comfort of my home?! Done deal--this one's a no-brainer.

  4. I'm sure you've noticed that so far I've stacked this list full of fat and sugar based items. You probably also appreciate my observance of the food pyramid. I mean when the Ancient Egyptians built the Food Pyramid they didn't put fats and sugars at the top for no reason, you know! But I understand--you want some variations here and you can get that at Omaha Steak Company. I bet you thought I would give you a Turkey discount...well, you're wrong. I prefer steak so we're going with a phenomenal deal for 50% off Select Filet Mignons. Mignon--the fact that I do NOT know the definition or correct pronunciation of this word means it's classy. 50% off classy means I'm sold.

  5. Boy, that was a lot of food! I bet you're thirsty. You could go down to 7-11 and pick up a Cherry ICEE or you could quench that thirst with a Savings.com exclusive for $5 off $75 at wine.com. You can save on all your favorite wines and get them shipped directly to your door! Or you could also get that ICEE and make a wine slushy--my favorite!

Bon Appetit!
