Infographic: Black Friday Deals – Will 2010 Continue On Trend?

Although the dreaded “Christmas Creep” starts earlier each year, for many shoppers the day after Thanksgiving marks the official kick-off of holiday shopping.  Known as “Black Friday” due to its propensity for pushing struggling retailers into profit mode, it’s expected that 2010 will be no different in whipping consumers into a deal feeding frenzy. Personally, I wouldn’t be caught dead in the vicinity of a shopping mall or big box store–no matter how enticing the Black Friday deals are.  I’d much prefer to avoid the crush of the crowds and wait until the shopping madness dies down before venturing out to do my Christmas shopping.  Even better is to avoid crowds, traffic and parking aggravation all together and shop online. 

According to our research, Cyber Monday deals proved to be more popular than the vaunted day after Thanksgiving discounts. :
