Over at the Huffington Post, Lisa Earle McLeod writes that fiscal prudence might be the new "cool".
If that's the case, we have cause to feel pretty good about what we're doing here at Savings.com. After all, we think that there's nothing cooler than scoring a great deal!
We'd like to know what you think: in these tough economic times, has saving become the new "black?"
For example, if you're out on a date with a cute guy and he pays with restaurant.com gift cards or uses a coupon, is his frugality a turn-on or a turn-off?
Or is a woman hunting down deals at the local thrift store chic or just cheap?
Would saving money by eating in be romantic or pathetic?
Is catching the early show and paying half price smart or stingy?
We know these days that coupons are most definitely "hot." But are they "sexy?"
