As part our #HelpMeSave campaign, our DealPro Laura Harders of Beltway Bargain Mom conducted a savings makeover for mom Kamber Petty. Not only is Kamber a working mom, she runs a blog Nova Outdoors and serves on the board of local non-profit, Mission Sleep. She is also an active member of a bowling league.

Although she is a very busy mom, juggling many things at once, her biggest priority are her two sons and spending quality time with them. She tried couponing before, but she got burnt out quickly and got very busy too.

So for this savings makeover, Laura wanted to get Kamber back on track by answering questions on how to realistically coupon, meal plan and save on everyday purchases, including groceries and family-friendly activities. She also suggested that Kamber get a "couponing buddy" to hold her accountable and meet with friends for a meal prepping/meat-packing/freezing party.

With an upcoming family road trip, Laura introduced Kamber to Gas Buddy to save on gas and a handful of other money-savings travel-apps.
