This week we're chatting all about ways to save at the grocery store. From sales cycles to using coupons, there are so many ways to save some money on your groceries. But these days, most of us are thinking about ways to eat a little healthier, but don't want to impact our wallets.

Here are four tips to help you save money at the grocery store and eat a little healthier at the same time.

1. Shop the perimeter of the store vs. heading down the individual aisles. The perimeter of the store contains whole foods like produce, meat and dairy. Avoiding the aisles also helps you avoid where a lot of the impulse purchases happen.
2. Eliminate things like sodas, sports drinks and juices. These items contain a lot of sugar, and you will be a lot healthier and budget-conscious by drinking water.

3. Buy the meat and produce that is on sale and then plan your snacks and meals accordingly. Paying full-price for produce and meat can be costly, which is why most people opt for processed foods. But if you will only buy the items that are on sale, then you'll be saving money on a regular basis!

4. Always look for clearance and mark downs on things like whole grain bread and organic foods. They are regularly marked down at stores like Kroger and more, so be on the look out! You'll be surprised by how often you can snag a great deal!

5. Most importantly, other than watching the sales cycles, is to use coupons whenever possible - especially on items that are on sale! If Stonyfield has organic yogurt on sale for $1.99 and you have a $1 coupon, then you're getting your yogurt for .99! Nice right? Check for organic and healthy coupons on sites like:

Coupons.com
HealtheSavers.com
Redplum.com
Facebook.com (check the Facebook page of the product you love)

Be sure to also check the Brands' websites for coupons. Your favorite Brands usually have coupons available on their sites.
