Rain checks? How does that relate to grocery savings? Well, I'm not talking about asking for a rain check on a date you had to cancel, no I'm talking about getting a rain check on a deal that was sold out. That's right! If an item is sold out at the store, you can ask the manager/cashier for a rain check, which allows you to come back later (even if the sale has ended) and still get the deal.

Fortunately, I haven't had to get too many rain checks. The one I did have to get was for the POM Juice. Had oodles of Qs to make it free so that was a seriously sweet deal.

I've asked for rain checks at department stores, but never grocery stores. That's a really good tip!
