Rain checks? How does that relate to grocery savings? Well, I’m not talking about asking for a rain check on a date you had to cancel, no I’m talking about getting a rain check on a deal that was sold out. That’s right! If an item is sold out at the store, you can ask the manager/cashier for a rain check, which allows you to come back later (even if the sale has ended) and still get the deal.

Lynette Rice from CleverlySimple.com talks about how to grab those awesome bargains with rain checks. Watch the video below for all the juicy details on how to get great deals with rain checks.

You can learn tips like these and more at a Savings Nation Coupon Class in your area. What’s your favorite deal that you’ve gotten using rain checks?

Fortunately, I haven’t had to get too many rain checks. The one I did have to get was for the POM Juice. Had oodles of Qs to make it free so that was a seriously sweet deal.

I’ve asked for rain checks at department stores, but never grocery stores. That’s a really good tip!
