Happy Holidays from all of us here at Savings! December is only days away, and we're already planning for Christmas! Twinkling lights are being strung from the rooftops, the smell of pine and fir is in the air, and I can almost taste the peppermint hot chocolate that's a tradition on Christmas Eve.

Continuing in last year's holiday tradition, we're thrilled to announce the launch of our 2011 Toys for Tots campaign! Over the next three weeks, we'll donate $1 for every time you share a Savings.com Facebook post.
Approximately 13 million children now live in poverty, and the holidays can be a difficult time for many people who don't have the means to give their children presents. Toys for Tots spreads the holiday spirit by giving toys to children, who otherwise would spend Christmas without a gift under the tree.

What began as a small group of Los Angeles Marine Reservists handing out 5,000 toys in 1947 has evolved over the years to become a holiday tradition that has overseen the distribution of more than 400 million toys to over 188 million less fortunate children.
