Love to read, but don't want to spoil your budget? Here are six easy ways to get free reading for yourself and your family:
- Get free books online through places like Barnes & Noble and Amazon. They even have apps now so that you can download free books to your cell phone or computer. There's no need to buy an expensive reader with these free apps.
- Borrow books from friends and family.
- Try a site like Paperback Swap. You can swap the books you have for books you are looking for.
- Get free Classic audio books at Books Should Be Free.
- Check out books at your local library. Usually this goes without saying, but did you know that you can actually place orders for books at your library? So if your library doesn't have a particular book that you are looking for, they can order it for you, and you still rent it for free!
- Check Freecycle daily for free book offers, or send out a request for some. You would be surprised at how many people are always giving away free books.
