Target Ticket - Non-subscription streaming service
If you haven't heard, Target has launched a new streaming
service Target Ticket
. This isn't a subscription service like others out there. It's more of an "a
la carte" service. You only pay for what you want to watch or
download. It's my kind of deal!
There's a decent selection and the prices aren't bad either. You can rent a
TV show or a movie starting at $1.99. If you want to buy a
movie, the prices start at about $9.99. There's also some for less in the
"Sale" section. They also offer complete seasons of your
favorite TV shows. If you're a
REDcard holder, you'll get an additional 5% savings.
Target Ticket offers individual playlist for everyone in your
household and parental controls. If you have little ones, I suggest
using them to keep them from watching anything that isn't
The service is compatible with several tablets and mobile
devices. However, when it comes to TVs, they only had four brands listed and one
game console. Check the
before you sign up to make sure that the Target Ticket app will
work with what you have in your home.
Right now, they are offering ten free downloads
for new users opening an account. The reality is that you have
create a Target Ticket account and an UltraViolet account (if you
don't have one already) and link the two to claim the ten free
movies. Only pre-selected movies are eligible for the offer.
