It's Friday. The weekend will soon be upon us, but before we all take off to enjoy some much deserved free time, how about we announce a this past week's blog giveaway winner?
Derek recently wrote a post reviewing the WOWee One portable iPod speaker, and he even gave us an in-office demo. I must say, it's a nifty little gadget that makes a lot of noise. Who's going to be throwing bumpin' impromptu dance parties in the near future with a new WOWee One?

ferriz. Congrats! While Summer of '69 isn't the most bumpin' jam, it's certainly good for a good, old fashioned sing along. We've sent you an email notifying you of your prize. If for some reason you don't receive it, email us at blog@savings.com to claim your prize before July 30th.
Now, for this week's blog giveaway prize, our friends at Tilly's have provided up with a Jansport backpack and a QuickSilver flash drive to use in this Back to School themed giveaway. When I was in school, we saved our data on floppy disks…my how the times have changed.
In any case, to enter, review contest rules and then simply comment on this blog post before the end of the day next Thursday, July 29th. We'll choose a winner that evening and announce the winner on Friday morning.

Definitely remember the floppy disc days myself, and I was always a Jansport girl too. I had a purple one all through high school and a green one all through college. They last forever and I STILL occasionally use them when I need a backpack. GREAT quality.

When I was in school, we didn't even have floppy disks. We actually retained information in our brains back in the days of higher IQ's.

Last year, I went back to school, YAY ME! and I needed a backpack. I kid you not, I went through 6!!!! backpacks, and still couldn't find one that held all my books without coming apart a week later. Jansport has always made good sturdy bags! I would LOVE to take one back to school this year!!!

I think this is great, I'm going to be a senior this year. At my fast paced school a flashdrive is an essential and so is a really sturdy backpack. I went through three backpacks last year. Thanks for the opportunity! =]

You had floppy disks when you were in school. Wow! I had paper and pen. My high school offered one computer class. It was called computer math and you had to have two years of Algebra to take it. LOL How times have changed!
