Tips for shopping Cyber Monday
Whether it's your first time shopping Cyber Monday, or you're a Cyber Monday
Veteran, these tips will help you get the most for your money while
shopping during the biggest online sale of the year!Make a list, check it twice
I like to make a list for each person, basically outlining what I'd like
to get them and the amount I'm willing to spend up to on each gift. I
also list "back up" gifts, in case I can't find the exact products I'm
looking for. Many stores will list their sales ahead of time, so you can
plan everything out to maximize savings.
Don't just read product reviews, be sure to read site reviews also. Also be
sure to find out what each store's Return Policy is,just in case.
Shop the big sites (Walmart, Kmart, etc). Smaller sites may not be as secure, which brings us to our next tip:
Be safe, be secure.
The only way to be sure you're on a secure page is to check and see that
the URL for the page begins with "https://" instead of "http://." The
"s" is to let you know the site is truly secure.
Some browsers will also show a lock icon in the lower right corner of
the browser window as a sign that you're visiting a secure site.

Save big by watching sites that offer free shipping. Don't get sucked into buying more just
to get the free shipping, though!
After you make a purchase, PRINT your confirmation or receipt! If you
cannot print it, be sure to email it to yourself - even if you have to
take a screen shot (CTRL+PRTSC) so you have proof of your purchase.
