Last week, our DealPros
gave you some DIY gift ideas
for your family and friends (I'm actually going to try out a couple
). This week, they offer some unique and or quirky gift ideas.
Everybody has a friend or two that gets a kick out of getting a unique or quirky gift for the holidays. And for the person that has almost everything under the sun, they'll appreciate something different and uncommon.
Take a look at some of our DealPros' fabulous suggestions:
Bearded crocheted hat
on Fun Finds for Families. Now this is one of the most adorable ideas I have ever seen. My mom is big on crocheting, so I will have her make a few for me and I mean "me".
The Consumable Gift Exchange
by Kansas City Mamas. This is a simple but clever idea. You can't spend over $10 and it must be consumable. On top of that, if you have a stockpile, you can do your shopping there and create your own gift basket.Using Recycled Glass To Make Flowers
by Thrifty NW Mom. This actually looks like a very sophisticated gift and I wouldn't mind receiving this for Christmas. Looks like one of those rare finds at a gift shop that would sell for much more money.
Make Baby Leg Warmers from Knee Socks
by Give Me Neither. These would be great gifts for adults and children. Both my kids have these and they love them. It's perfect to wear as arm warmers, leg warmers and sometimes we use them to cover up hot stainless steel bottles.
