Wacky Product of the Week: Air Swimmers

Now that Halloween is over, I am already getting into the Christmas spirit. Usually, that feeling doesn't hit me until late November when the holiday rush is on in full swing, but with all the stores putting up holiday decorations early, I'm in the mood.

And really, nothing says "holiday celebration" like gigantic, flying, remote-control sharks and fish! Enter Air Swimmers from ThinkGeek.

Just when you thought it was safe to walk into the living room....or kitchen, bedroom, or really anywhere indoors (the "not to be used outdoors" warning does make a girl wonder though...), these high-flying, remote-control powered water friends came out of the ocean...and now they're after you! Well, the clownfish might just be looking for Nemo, but I'm pretty sure the shark is after you. He looks pretty hungry, and he doesn't even come with helium, so I'm sure he'll take what he can get.

Either of these random toys are only $40 and I, for one, think it would be worth that alone just to mess around with my two cats and see what they do when a clownfish comes for them. I have a feeling they'd pop him with their claws, so I guess I won't be partaking in this insanity.

Still, such a wacky product that I couldn't resist!
