Put down that novel. Turn around and enjoy the view. This week's wacky product gives some of you an even better reason to stay in the bathroom long after your initial, um, business is done.
The Fish N Flush Toilet Tank Aquarium created by AquaOne,
"fits most two-piece toilets and turns the bathroom into the center of
attention with its unique design of an aquarium that wraps itself
around a clear inner tank." That's right, your toilet tank is an aquarium. You provide the fish of your choosing and drop them into what looks like some gaudy leftover from the 1970's home of Tony Montana.
According to the website, fish activists need not worry that our fine finned friends are in any danger. Flushing will apparently not result in mass fish deaths. The tank will hold both fresh and salt water to accommodate whatever sea or pond life you choose to add to your bathroom aquarium.
"These acrylic tanks are fully functional, impact resistant and stronger
than porcelain toilet tanks. They are completely separate from the
toilet tank and are designed to fit directly against the companion tank
reservoir."
One of these aquatic marvels will cost you either $199 (
without LED lighting) or $224 (
with LED lighting system). The entire kit comes with a two-piece tank, dual-filter pump system,
artificial plants, a flushing system, flush valve and a fill valve.
What do you think? Perfect bathroom accessory? I'm sure if you're related to either Mr. Furley or the Ropers of Three's Company fame, then this seems right on groovy to you.
