Wacky Product of the Week: Pac-Man 30th Anniversary Watch

Greetings my fellow ageless fans of all things weird and wild. Today, while attempting to search for a suitable wacky product of the week, I was rather nicely reminded by Google of the rise of the Pac-Man phenomenon some 30 years ago. The Google logo, as of this writing, located on the Google home page is a playable Pac-Man game. A simple selection of "Insert Coin" and my wasted day begins.
Which leads rather nicely into the product for this week. Who knew Pac-Man and couture time-piece would ever be mentioned in the same sentence? Priced slightly over $200, the latest Pac-Man themed watch, will be available this Fall. It's gold-plated with the bling bling set in mind. Until the new game is unveiled next month at E3, we'll all just have to be sated watching Pac-Man chew through the minutes on our wrists while we wait. It's actually a pretty classy looking timepiece. Whether it is truly worth the price tag is up to you and your individual preferences for accessory spending.
The official Namco Bandai website also has a cool assortment of other Pac-Man related goodies, most of which, however, are this side of ridiculous in terms of pricing.
So who will be first to place their pre-order and sport some flashy Pac-Man jewelry in a few months? I'll just enjoy the game in all its retro glory. That's enough for me. How about you?
