Send-a-meal is a really nice idea! It seems like a good thing to send to new parents (like you mentioned) or friends who have recently moved.

New moms really just want a few hours of good sleep. How about babysitting the little one?

I saw Breaking Dawn 1 and it was really cheesy. Did you see it?

@Dealtown – Sendameal is great! Wish it was around when I had my child.

@SavingsIQ – There is a company that will do babysitting, but the cities were so limited, I didn’t put it on the article. Also, no, haven’t seen the new “Twilight” movie. I think the first was endearing, after that, it sort of slides sideways in one-note acting.

Love any idea that has to do with food. I remember when a new baby meant friends and family coming over with freezer meals and casseroles that could easily be reheated for those hectic, “new mom” days. It’s a tradition that has been fading in popularity over the years — much to the dismay of new moms. Thanks for the recommendations!
