We love our pets, don’t we? Some people may find it funny that we actually want to celebrate and enjoy the holiday season with our furry loved ones, but that’s okay! Let them laugh at us why we get some of the best snuggles and wet kisses available!

And as pet lovers, it’s always fun to come up with a fun, unique gifts for the furry friends in our lives. At the offices, we are big time fans of adopting, and we even bring our dogs into the offices. Those deals in the pet section of the site? Yeah, Thomas the Dog is always hard at work, helping out with those. So what are some of our favorite gifts for pets this holiday season? Here are the six ideas from Savings employees for you: 1. Interactive laser pet toy for cats.

As I was browsing the cute toys for pets the other day, I happened upon this item, and nearly spit out my drink all over my laptop. It’s absolutely such a fun gift idea if you have a cat in your life. I don’t have a cat, and even I want to get this simply for the hilarity awesomeness factor.

2. Homemade dog treats.

Allegra, our social media manager and lover of all things dog-friendly, recommends saving some money by making your own special dog treats as a gift. Here’s a homemade dog treat recipe that’s super easy and ridiculously cheap to make.

3. Kong Wobbler treat dispensing toy.

If you’ve got a dog, you can never really go wrong with a Kong, because they are super durable and allow for hours of fun and enjoyment. We have one for our American Staffordshire Terrier, and she absolutely loves it. As you probably know, those dogs are big and have some good size teeth. Our Kong treat dispenser puts up with all the chewing that Sophia can dish out.

4. SlimCat Interactive Toy.

Joe says, “I use this on my fat cat. It makes him get a little exercise in order to get at a snack. It works really well, and he seems to enjoy the process.”

5. A new bed!

It’s such a simple gift idea, but more than likely needed. Those beds do tend to get kind of rough lookin’ after a year or so, so a new one might be in order.

6. Pet water station.

A lot of times pets don’t get all the hydration they need, so this is a great gift that will help your pet get much needed water when they need it.
