Savings Secrets: 4 unique places to shop for groceries
Most of us head out to the grocery store when it’s time to pick up food for the week. It’s the best way to find and shop for all our weekly food needs right? Well, not necessarily.
There are actually some other great ways to grab the weekly haul, and save money at the same time. Here are some unique places to shop for groceries and other household needs:
1. TJMaxx and Marshalls. These stores carry a variety of different types of foods, and the deals are usually really good. I’m especially a fan of all the different organic foods they have. And along with saving on groceries here, you can actually get a good deal on your salon products. So if you have to buy those expensive hair care products, you’re better off finding them at the Maxx baby!
2. Cost Plus World Market. This store is known for its exotic decor and furnishings, but I’m a huge fan of their food department. They carry so many types of foods including pastas, spices, coffee, olive oil, wine and more! Plus, if you are a part of World Market Rewards, you’ll receive coupons on a regular basis (love those $10 off $30 coupons) to help you save even more on the food you buy there.
3. Drugstores. If you haven’t checked out the drugstores for saving on groceries yet, now is the time! With so many rewards programs and coupons available for stores like Walgreens, Rite Aid and CVS, it’s easy to walk out of the store paying merely pennies for your groceries.
4. Online. Now more than ever consumers are choosing to shop online for their grocery needs. If there are certain things you need to keep on hand on a regular basis, having them shipped right to your door is super easy. Plus, sites like Amazon.com, Vitacost.com and Drugstore.com make the discounts and promotions easy on your wallet.
A couple of other good places are dollar stores, convenience stores, outlets and there are many other places to find great deals on groceries. Do you have any places in your area that you head to when you need good deals on groceries?
