Techy Gift Tips by Our DealPros

In this day and age, it’s almost impossible not to be a little bit of a tech geek.  Some of the most desired and high ticketed gifts are tech-related.  For example, my 3 year old can’t read a book yet, but she can say to her grandmother, “I wan mini-iPad fo Christmas” (please excuse the child pronunciation).

Just like a gift card, I feel that most techy gifts are a safe bet.  Who doesn’t like an iPad, a Kindle Fire, a smartphone and tons more.  Don’t ask me for a wishlist because my list goes on and on and on!

If you don’t know where to start, take a look at some of our DealPro suggestions: 1. Mukluks for the techy geek.

Yes.  This isn’t a techy item, but it’s a gift for the techy geeks. Get it (or not?).  Now if you are a techy geek that has almost everything under the sun, a nice and warm Mukluks will do the trick.

2. LOL Shirts for the techy at heart.

I think this t-shirt, Will Work For BandWidth says it all.  If you can’t afford to buy an expensive techy gift item, then you can spend $8 buying a t-shirt that will come a close second.

3. Ubooly for your tech-savvy child.

I have to admit, if I came across this in the middle of the night, you might hear me screaming at the top of my lungs.  However, I do think they are cute and they make learning fun for your child.

4. Xbox Kinect for the family.

My husband has been requesting an Xbox bundle which includes the Kinect since it has hit the retail scene.  Every year, he mumbles the word Xbox when we talk about gifts.  He may be lucky this year!

So are you ready to go techy gift shopping?  It shouldn’t be that difficult.  Just make sure you use the appropriate coupon codes to maximize your savings.  I’m hoping to get a techy gift myself this year (*hint* *hint* hubby). Come back next week to see what our DealPros have to say about last minute gifts. As Obi-Wan Kenobi would say, “May the Force be with you“.
