Wardrobe Oxygen: Leopard Shoes to Add Fashionable Flair at Affordable Prices

featured-image-2977438

I recently wrote about accessories for Fall and the first one I featured was a leopard-print shoe. As I mentioned in the article, I have a pair of leopard-print pumps; they aren’t the only cat-print shoes I own. Season after season I find that my cat-print shoes get more wear than my classic black leather pumps. They are a great way to spice up a simple ensemble, add depth to an outfit of black or neutrals, and look more fun and far less severe than black or brown.

Leopard print shoes can seem a bit wild for those who haven’t worn them before. If this is a trend you would like to try but have some trepidation, it’s a wise choice to start slow…and with a price that is low.

Below are some adorable leopard print shoes that are at an equally adorable price.

FAHRENHEIT Rai Leopard WedgeTilly’s.

I love wedges–you get the same height as with a heel, but it’s far easier to walk and stand in. This wedge by FARENHEIT is awesome: a subtle black body with a wild printed wedge heel.

These would look amazing peeking out from the hem of your favorite jeans, and would create much impact when paired with a little black dress and opaque black heels.

At only $26.99 you can afford to try (and fall in love with) this trend.

A pair of ballet flats is a great choice for this fall — they look fabulous with this season’s cropped pants and midi-length chiffon skirts. These flats from Fashion Bug have a classic shape but a fuzzy texture which adds whimsy to any ensemble. At $19.99 they are a great wardrobe addition, or could tuck into your bag for a comfy commuter shoe.

Women’s Mossimo Black Versie Pump in Leopard – Target.

You can’t go wrong with a classic pump in a cat print. They will look amazing with your little black dress, jazz up a pair of jeans or denim trousers, and add elegant style to any suit or work ensemble.

This pump from Mossimo for Target is a subtle print that can dress up and down and ease, and the platform sole is on trend. An elegant shoe, and a great price of only $29.99.

I love a peep toe heel–it adds a bit of glamour to an ensemble and is a fabulous way to show off your pedicure. These slingback peep toes from Wet Seal are a classic style that will look great from work day suits to weekend cocktail dresses. The platform sole and skinny heel is sexy and very current.

At only $14.99, you can afford to add these beauts to your wardrobe!

leopard_bootie

These booties are for the true leopard-print lover — they will add maximum impact to any outfit. While they would look fantastic paired with skinny jeans, they would also rock with opaque tights in black or even dark red and a short dress.

This is a fierce look, and a fierce price of only $35.50.

I like them too but living in a rural community I have not had much chance to wear them. They just look great with a black dress.Up north I could wear them all the time but not in Florida in country living. :) still buy a pair though .

I’m a little bit surprised by this post–I’ve been on the lookout for leopard shoes this fall, and the budget options I’ve seen look really…cheap. Something about inexpensive shoes in leopard print just doesn’t seem to work. Have you not found that?

  7. Greetings! I know this is kind of off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are you using for this
website? I’m getting sick and tired of WordPress
because I’ve had problems with hackers and I’m looking at alternatives for another platform.
I would be awesome if you could point me in the direction of
    a good platform.
