So it's my third wedding anniversary tonight. We got married just two days after Christmas in a lovely snow covered little chapel in New England. It was beautiful, but now we are stuck celebrating our anniversary every year after already blowing our money on presents for everyone else.
And so we usually have very little to spend on each other.

Spiderman broke his date with Mary Jane. Actually, Peter Parker had the date with MJ. She didn't know at the time that Peter and Spiderman are the same. If Peter wants to stay on her good graces then he had better find a way to apologize and quick. Roses and diamond jewelry won't cut it, besides Peter can't afford it. He needs to think creatively and cheaply to say, "I'm sorry MJ (...for standing you up on our date while Spiderman was out fighting crime)."

It's no secret that I'm a huge Harry Potter fan. Some might say I'm "mental" about the series. Books, movies, collectibles, memorabilia, Wizard wear--I can't seem to get enough! Sitting in front of me, I've got the Deathly Hallows symbol on a chain, two wands, a Pygmy Puff named Mortimer, The Tales of Beedle the Bard, a copy of the Quibbler, a Marauder's Map...need I go on? (I won't even get started on the fact that I have a cloak and uniform upstairs)
After waiting in line all day yesterday for the midnight showing, I am not even close to Harry Pottered out. So today, I am sharing a cool Harry Potter tech idea that's in the works at the moment and within reach for us Muggles to get our hands on too: moving photographs.

Loose Change
With only a few days until Christmas morning, you may be in a slight panic if you find your gift list is not complete. Whether you classify yourself as a procrastinator or simply enjoy the increasing pressure to find a meaningful gift part of the holiday season, here's a few ideas to check those last items off your list!
Last Minute Gift Ideas
Gift Cards
Despite their reputation, gift cards can be as meaningful as a specific item. Choose a gift card from a store you know they will enjoy. Whether they'll be buying a new pair of shoes or a chai latte with your gift, they'll be sure to think of you with thanks when they use the card to purchase something they need or just want.
As an added bonus of savings, select gift cards that earn you rewards at your grocery store. Local restaurants also may give you a return on your money.

Holidays
Sometimes it's easier to buy a stack of gift cards and pass them out to family and friends than go to the mall and fight the crowds. It really depends on your personality and how much patience you have.
The fact that gift cards are almost anywhere offers the immediate convenience to any shopper who dreads shopping. You can find them at your local grocery store, drug store, favorite pizzeria and more (you name it, they probably have some).
Just like buying holiday gifts, the costs can add up very quickly. If you're on a budget, buying gift cards might not sound like the perfect solution for you ... but wait ... can you buy a gift card at a lesser price? The answer is yes. There are sites that are dedicated to helping you sell, buy and exchange unwanted gift cards for less than what it's worth. BINGO! (ding-ding-ding-ding-ding).
