Meet the savings.com DealPros™

I hate going to the mall, but I love buying gadgets. I’m also cheap, so shopping online is a perfect choice for me. Online I can find a wide selection of cheaper merchandise minus the mall crowds and parking. I have been buying and hunting discounted products on the internet for at least 10 years. Recently, I became a Dealpro® for Savings.com and now I have the opportunity to help other online shoppers find good deals.

I am a self-proclaimed carboholic who enjoys dining out and blogging about it at Epicurean Cutie. I’m a savvy consumer who loves finding bargains on clothes, shoes, cosmetics, travel and of course food! Restaurant reviews are my expertise, and I always have good tips on where to go for the best food and deals.

Saving money is part of who I am. I never pay full price for groceries, clothing, gardening, utilities, electronics, toys, books, home repairs, kid’s activities, cars, mortgage…anything! I founded BargainBriana.com in 2008 to share all my bargains and money saving tips with her friends and family, which has expanded into thousands of readers everyday. Not frugal by nature, I have found bargains and used coupons most of my life to maximize my return. I came to Savings.com with a background in marketing and a lot of experience scouring the internet for great deals. I love traveling, going to the beach, biking… and of course, shopping!

I have always loved getting “deals”, starting back in high school with my back-to-school clothing budget. I would model the clothes I had just purchased and announce the original price, followed by how much I saved by shopping a great sale. Now, as a stay-at-home mom of 2 young boys, it’s not quite as exciting, since I’m saving on groceries and toiletries, but I still love to save money! I currently share all my favorite deals, tips on how to save money, and ways to earn a little extra money on my blog, “Cents"able Momma and on Twitter (@centsablemomma).

I started using coupons right after my youngest son was born as a way to survive on a single income. I started with grocery coupons but quickly realized that coupons and deals were available for just about everything I needed to buy! I was hooked on savings and began a forum for women to discuss ways to save money. Today you will find me talking deals at The Coupon Cupboard or teaching other homeschooling moms how to stretch their budget and their sanity at Elementary Spirits. When I am not busy with the day to day life of raising two boys, one with special needs, I am on Twitter hanging out with all my online friends.

By day, I’m a Validation Engineer for a pharmaceutical company; and by night I’m a yelper, a freebie hunter, and a deal hunter. I love to try new things, especially food. I’m the mom behind the popular steals and deals site DealSeekingMom.com. As a former career-oriented professional turned stay-at-home mom, reconciling champagne tastes with a tap water budget was a challenge, especially with a family of seven. Deal Seeking Mom teaches readers across the US how to stretch their budgets in order to make room for occasional splurges.

I am a stay at home mom of 2 small boys and I run a small company of family friendly websites to stay that way. I have been a deal seeker since 2002 when my first son was born. While looking for a way to stay home and still contribute financially, I stumbled upon a coupon obsession. We now spend less than $5 a week to feed a family of 4. I arrived here in Los Angeles over a decade ago, by way of Western NY and Boston. My work experience includes selling overpriced sports equipment and overpriced wine.
