This fall is a great season to stock up on trends that are classic, and flattering to so many different body types. One trend I am adoring, and know will still look chic years from now is the return of the cape.
I know, many of you when you hear "cape" may think of Superman and
Sherlock Holmes. However, this fall's cape is far more elegant,
versatile and figure-flattering than a red satin or ankle-length number
famous made famous by your favorite storybook hero. A cape is a great
piece to wear during transitional weather--you can slip over a tee and
jeans for a trip to the market, over a suit or dress with ease, or use
it as a layering piece with a heavy sweater or fitted jacket for
additional warmth come winter. Capes work on slight and curvy frames,
petite and tall women, and will work even if you are between sizes (or expecting!).
Here are some of my favorite budget-friendly capes for this fall--styles that are kind to your figure, your lifestyle and your wallet.

We live in a world of instant gratification. The two best examples of that desire are
Twitter and
Facebook. In recent years, social media has exploded onto the scene, giving users the ability to connect with millions worldwide. All at the click of a button.
No time to connect with friends? No problem. Get on Facebook and you can see what they are up to with photos, status updates and wall posts. Want to know what your favorite celebrity is up to? Follow them on Twitter for up to the minute updates of their latest trip, shopping excursion or product endorsement.
What happens if you want to see what's going on with your favorite brand? Easy. Follow or fan them. Here's a list of the top ten companies who are very active on the social media circuit.

Here on the west coast, it may still be too warm to wear that new sweater or coat you purchased for Fall, but one way to quickly ease into autumn season is by changing up your makeup!
This year seems to be one of the most interesting years when it comes to makeup as a variety of different styles have been set as trends. Now it's time to put away the colors of summer in favor of the new, bold makeup trends that ruled the
fall fashion shows. From Yves Saint Laurent's red lips to Prada's dark, dominant brows, designers used not-so-subtle trends to top off their looks for the fall season.
Here are some of my favorite must-have makeup looks from the runway for Fall, and where you can snag them for less.

Newsworthy
We're a pretty laid back bunch of folks here at
Savings.com, but sometimes we hear workplace stories that make us do a double-take. As much as we wish these stories were mere fiction, the links inside prove that the truth is much stranger.

Stuff We Like
There is no doubt that Oscar night gets a fashion gal like me all in a tizzy. The gowns, oh, the gowns! When else can someone get away with wearing a swan, or partially exposing her breasts, or starting a new trend in the blink of an eye? Okay, so there are also always some major misses. But more than anything else what I like to look for at the Oscars is how they will affect spring fashion. Let's take a look.

Holidays
Halloween is right around the corner. Men, unlike women, do not like to shell out money for one outfit they will probably never wear again. You can save money, buy something you would wear and still have a costume. Go as Jason Voorhees! Remember the movie "Friday the 13th"? The iconic hockey mask is that extra accessory you may not find useful unless you play rollerblade or street hockey.
The rest of the terror ensemble you can buy at
Macy's.
By rhino 9 months ago What I most admire about American Apparel is their recent decision to pay "The Situation" (of Jersey Shore) money to stop wearing their clothes since it is damaging to their reputation and nauseating to their fans.

By SaraDunhamDealPro 9 months ago If you live in Los Angeles, be sure to check out American Apparel's warehouse store downtown. You can get the same stuff that you'd get online or at their other stores, but for much cheaper. You may find a small hole here or a tiny bleach spot there, but hey...hipsters dig distressed clothes, right?
