Product Review
I know it may be a bit early, but it really is getting to be that time of year again--when we all sit down with our mountain of forms, receipts, student loan documents, calculators, deductions, bank forms, our uncle Joe who knows how to finagle the numbers, and everything else we are required to input for taxes. I can just feel the excitement buzzing in the air, the anticipation of this wonderful time of year.
Oh, you
don't like doing your taxes? You think they're complicated? Well, maybe a tax tech app called
TurboTax SnapTax for your
iPhone or
Android smartphone can help!

The bad news: It's that time of year again, everyone dreads it. Unfortunately it has it be done...taxes.
This year the IRS is asking that we wait until the middle of February to file. They aren't ready
for us.
Do you think they would extend the same courtesy if we said, "We aren't ready for you,
we will send out, oh, say June." That probably wouldn't go over so well. But, here we are
ready to go and no where to send the tax forms to.
So get all your paper work together, sit tight
and get ready for what I have dubbed (you heard it here first) "Frenzy February" when everyone
files all at once.

Personal Finance
If you are like me, you worry about your taxes throughout the year. Of course, this stress culminates in February or March when I finally need to sit down, organize my documents and thoughts, and file a final return.
Over the years, I have found one thing to be true when it comes to taxes: hire a professional unless you are 100 percent sure of what you are doing. Sure, this is going to cost money. But the peace of mind that it gives you is well worth the few hundred dollars.

By sjaurequi 2 days ago It would be nice to get discounts for H&R Block Premium customers for returning every year for the last 15 years. I am paying upwards of $300 every year. Give us a break.
