Have you ever wondered what the "j" and the "c" stand for in "jcpenney"? The "j" stands for James, as the company was founded by James Penney. The "c," of course, stands for "coupons." That's right: the dark days are over, and jcpenney has returned to their glorious old strategy of making tons of coupons available. They've also spruced up their stores, introduced an inventive new store-within-a-store concept, and partnered up with popular brands like Betsey Johnson, Nicole Miller, and Sephora, to name a few. There has never been a better time to throw caution to the wind, fill your pockets with jcpenney coupons, and get shopping. Savings.com is here to help you do just that.

I tried to buy a sofa when it was 40% off, plus a 10% day only coupon to be used on line. When I tried to buy the sofa on line, the site said that it was out of stock. I contacted JCP and was told it was unavailable on line or in stores in my area. I decided to enter a different zip codes and found that it WAS available in several other cities around the country. there. They claim they ship ANYWHERE, yet I was unable to buy the sofa despite it being available elsewhere. I then contacted JCP again (twice now) to get an explanation, but after two weeks now, they've not returned my emails. I intend on reporting this to the BBB along with several other major news sources. This reeks of fraudulent behavior. Don't get me wrong, I did not say that it was fraudulent, just that it is suspicious. My supposition is that they don't want to incur the cost of shipping.
