One of the reasons I go out to eat at a sit-down restaurant is to get good service. At home, I am the chef, waitress, busser, dishwasher and more. So going out means getting the service I deserve.
While the food aspect is important, if I don't get good service, it's probably safe to say I will never return even if the food is extraordinary. If the food is so-so but the service is excellent, I will probably return.
With good service, you should always reward your waiter or waitress accordingly. They make less than minimum wage and tips are really what they live off of. If you don't know if you're tipping correctly, here are some tips that will come in handy when you go out to eat next time:
Have you voted yet? If not, please take a moment and go out to the polling places to cast your vote. Your vote counts!
At 7am sharp, I walked over to my polling place and it was closed until 10am. Not only was I excited to vote, I was also looking forward to getting my "I Voted" sticker to wear around all day long, but that will have to wait until my polling place opens.
Today, exercise you right to vote and you will be rewarded with many freebies. Cast your ballot and take a look at these list of freebies that you can take advantage of (remember to show your sticker):

The quintessential date night is "dinner and a movie," but there's got to be a cheaper way to enjoy this "must" for just about any adult couple. It's hard to go out for an evening without dropping $75 to $100 for a few hours of fun. And that doesn't include the babysitter cost or dragging the kids along (which is not very romantic).
The following tips are not recommended for first dates--you may scare someone off by seeming cheap--but if you are in a long term relationship you'll be instantly raised to "smart, wise and thrifty."

Money Saving Tips
One of my guilty pleasures is dining out. There's something
about not having to cook, clean, and serve a meal that makes me
giddy. Unfortunately, a lot of the time eating out can have
not so friendly eco consequences. There are ways that you can
"green" your dining out or take out experience. Here are some
of the things my family does to save money and the environment.
