We've all heard that drinking 8 glasses of water a day is essential for your health. And how many of us actually achieve that goal? I think I'm up to 6 glasses a day. However, a doctor recently wrote in the
British Medical Journal that
drinking 6-8 glasses a day is "thoroughly debunked nonsense" especially since there is no scientific evidence to support this theory.
Sure, you don't medically have to drink 8 glasses of H2O, but drinking at least 1.5 liters a day is still good for flushing out toxins and keeping your body running smoothly. I hear many people complaining that water is boring and tasteless, so here's a list of easy and cheap ways to jazz up your water.

Day three without caffeine. Let me rephrase that: Day three without double—okay, who am I fooling, triple—shots of espresso that I've come to depend on to get me through my afternoon slump.
But a funny thing happened on the way back from the coffee shop: Pain. Serious pain. The kind of pain that had me doubled over and damn near close to blacking out. Scary stuff. And the only thing that connects the dots between my episodes of pain is a good strong shot of espresso.

It's beginning to heat up across the country, and we're all looking for ways to cool off. Instead of turning up the air conditioning, which can be expensive, enjoy the warm weather! Put on some light clothing and head outdoors. Stay in the shade, and don't forget your sunscreen.
