Beauty and technology are two of my favorite things. After receiving an email a few days ago about the latest beauty innovations, I couldn't help but try to figure out which high-tech tool I want to add to my arsenal (move over iPad 2).
These futuristic beauty products coming to the market aren't cheap though. They promise to make us look well-groomed and fabulous. So are they really worth it?

I love the chilly air of Fall and Winter, but I hate what it does to my skin and hair. Now that weather is cooling down, I'm starting to notice some scaly, dry patches on my skin. Ugh!
As the seasons change, so should your beauty routine (put away the lightweight moisturizers). I went on a hunt for some of the new beauty products out there that would combat the dreadful winter weather in the coming months.

With winter quickly approaching, I'm beginning to experience drier
skin than normal. It makes sense: once the humidity from the
summer is gone, the lower moisture content in the air affects your
skin. Conventional lotions can cost a lot of money and
contain nasty chemicals, dyes, and other additives that enter your
bloodstream almost immediately upon application. Fortunately,
there are many natural moisturizers that are cheap and natural that
you can use to quench your parched skin.

Who can ever get enough of beauty and hair care samples?
When I get them, I throw them in a drawer and then when it's time to travel, throw them all in a plastic bag. That way I have plenty of shampoo, conditioner,
lotion, etc. to get through the trip without carrying heavy bottles around. At least that's what I do with mine.
Olay is hosting a freebie Friday at NOON today, though they haven't even hinted to what the freebie will be.
