Odds and Ends
Just recently
Virgin America, opened up services to Chicago and since the price was right and I needed to book tickets for my cousin's wedding, I chose to fly with them.
I'd flown with them before when my older child was almost two years-old and had a great experience. At the time, my daughter was a little sick and instead of having her sit on my lap, they gave me the entire row.
I have to say that this time around, I was a little disappointed with the inconsistency of customer service.

As each news day brings the story of another monolithic air carrier biting the proverbial dust, the future of air travel seems headed in the direction of smaller,
niche carriers. With so many cropping up, which airline is the best fit for your travel needs?
It doesn't take an aviation expert to see that the old business model for air travel is becoming extinct. With huge airlines charging big rates and then nickel and diming passengers, many annoyed travelers are looking for friendlier skies.
Enter the niche airline market. Dozens of tiny airlines catering to smaller market shares are cropping up. Rather than spreading themselves thin, these niche airlines do less--but do it better.
So which niche airline fits your travel personality?

Money Saving Tips
Phoenix, Las Vegas and Palm Springs start cooling off as we head into autumn. With travel prices (as well as temperatures) down from summer highs, the Southwest is a great place to head for some golfing fun.
By snarkydeals 6 months ago I love Southwest Air! Never fly any other airlines. Southwest's service is just heads above the competition. I can't stand flying elsewhere. I even got the Southwest Visa card because of my love for this airline. They're cheap, they go where I need, and the discounts are killer! Win win win.

By jerryp45 5 months ago My friends and family think I must be getting a kickback from Southwest because their the only airline I fly,and I'm always telling them about the good fares I see. But when it comes time for travel they all call me and ask me to search for the best airfare for them. Of course Southwest is the only website I go to and I always find fares they love. I've become the family travel agent and I luv it!!

By dealtown 3 months ago Hi Ih8south, we post every deal for Southwest that we come across, but unfortunately there's no $10 off code available right now. I promise if we find one, we'll post it right away! In the meantime, if you'd like to contact Southwest, here's their customer service contact info: http://www.southwest.com/html/customer-s…
Hope that helps!

By Ih8south 3 months ago What deals? There are no deals that I can find involving Southwest as an airline solely. Only packages and fine print trickery. You ARE an Airline aren't you? A $10 promo code right now would make me trust this Airline a lot more.
