This is true. You would think that after 10 yeas of using the software one would get at least one free. I always buy the Business and the home and business and at least one additional State program. When I did my taxes it was SUPPOSE to be free, but they still took "their fee" out of my check!!! And I juat did my taxes last week!! Your site would not accept the free offer when I tried to add it!!! I would like my money back or I will do my taxes through ANOTHER company next year!!! Simple taxes, nothing difficult!!! Now I question what else Turbo Tax says and definitely would NEVER rely on your Audit defense!! Why should I? If you don't honor your "free tax deal" then WHY would I trust your Audit Defense promise??? So much for being a LOYAL LONG-TERM customer!!

Yes, I must agree. We have used TurboTax for years and we usually end up buying BOTH the Home and Business and we also have to buy the Business one too. (S-Corp) That is quite a bit of money. You would think that customer loyalty would count for something, in the form of a discount!! We spend roughly $175 each year (or more) and NEVER has TurboTax offered the slightest of discounts! That is really bad customer relations. In this day and age when there are multiple software programs to choose from you would think that TurboTax would be more competitive. Maybe they don't feel the need to, maybe they have all the customers and money they need?! Well we have decided to go with a competitor! Maybe if more people would "leave" TurboTax, they would see fit to DO THE RIGHT THING for their customers!
