Summertime is nearly upon us, and for most folks that means travel. Whether you're packing up the minivan for a cross-country road trip or hopping a flight to visit far-flung family, you'll want to throw a few key tech tools into your bag.
MyCharge Peak 6000
The last thing you need during a trip is for your phone or tablet to run out of juice. The MyCharge Peak 6000 is a portable power supply with built-in connectors for the most common gear—and a USB port for the less-common stuff.
The half-pound Peak packs enough mobile power to charge not only small devices like phones and Bluetooth headsets, but also larger tablets like the iPad. I've been using one for months, and it has quickly become my most indispensable travel accessory. Read
my original review if you want to learn more.
The Peak 6000 lists for $99.99, but
AT&T currently has it on sale for $69 shipped.

Money Saving Tips
So you tweet, right? I mean, who doesn't tweet these days? But isn't it sometimes just annoying that when you go to read your friends' tweets that you have to, like, actually read them and stuff? I mean, it's so tedious! It would be so great if you could just have a friend sitting beside you, reading the tweets to you, so that you could get on to more important tasks in your life.

Shop Smarter
If you're like me and you are online more than 8 hours every day (
even if I didn't work from home, I guarantee I'd spend half my life on this new-fangled contraption)...AND you have two cats who like to make beds out of your laptop's warm keyboard (
or curled up against the vents or in my lap looking at the computer or sitting on top of the desktop unit...really, they're not picky), then you know how messy your work space can get sometimes. With pets, the usual dirt and dust, and even eating at your desk, your desktop can be a really messy place.
But I'm here to help. Well, okay, I'm not really going to do anything except point you in the direction of this week's wacky product, the
Dust Extinguisher Mini Desktop Vacuum.
Try saying that ten times fast.
