Are there any banks offering a bonus for signing up for a new account?

Looking to start a savings account for my daughter with the most interest.

Right now they are offering $100 cash bonus when you open a new checking account. Their accounts are free with direct deposit, so it doesn't cost anything to take advantage of this offer. I actually did it myself few months ago and I got extra $100 (not bad). You can do everything online and you'll end up with an extra $100 for your daughter.

ING (ingdirect.com) almost always has a new sign-on bonus available (usually around $50), plus you can earn bonuses for referring friends, too.

Chase sent me the $100 offer too and Compass has some cash bonus too.
