Walk down the street to rent a wreck at Centinella and Pico. Or follow my blog advice and buy yourself something disposable, if you are lucky you can sell it for the same price you bought it for when you are done. http://www.savings.com/blog/post/1-Used-…

Most rental companies like Budget and Dollar offer great rates for lengthy rentals. Sign up for their specials and you will always get coupon deals in your email also.
