Is P90X worth the cost?

Are there any other at-home workouts you recommend for less?

I never tried doing P90X, however, I know a ton of people who are currently using it and they have gotten some amazing results. For people who need to lose weight, the weight comes off. For thinner people, it gives them muscle tone. I heard it's not easy, but if you can go through it, then you will get amazing results.

I also heard if you have injuries from the past, the workout offers options for you as well. My friend swears by it. If you have gotten no results after you've used it for 90 days, you can return it and get all your money without any questions asked.

Personally, I am more of a "If it's not fun, I won't stick with it" type of gal. I need my workouts to be fun. That is why I like Zumba Fitness on the Wii - I also go to my local gym and do Zumba there as well. Not only are you working out, but you are moving to hot beats and having a good time, which makes you more likely to actually work out then if you get a program that is all about the burn and no fun. I enjoy Zumba!

I also haven't tried it but considered it (until I looked at the price, ouch). However, I've also heard people have seen great results from it. I don't think it would be money wasted, but I will say it's possible to get results with other workouts.

I did the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred. It's great for moms because it's only a 20 minute workout once a day. It kicks your butt, though. I wanted to tone up a little, and I definitely felt stronger than before. The best part is it's only $9 at Walmart- can't beat that. You could always try it, and if you don't like it- buy the P90X :)

Everyone I know said it was awesome. So my husband as I got it. I thought it was o.k. I am not in great shape but I LOVE bodypump at my gym. I think bodypump is a MUCH harder workout and more effective!
