Air BnB - great site for travel accomodationsI recently learned about http://www.airbnb.com/, and it's awesome. It's a service through which people rent out their house, apartment, etc to travelers. It's way cheaper than most hotels, but has a lot more options than hostels. My boyfriend and I just booked a studio apartment for our trip to New York, and I'm super happy with it! |

Re: Air BnB - great site for travel accomodationsI used Air BnB but it's not always cut out to what it states online. One guy offered a room only to discover he slept on the couch, which made it impossible for me to work early morning online. Another place we went to look at the owner had yet to fix the room since the last tenant, nice neighborhood but it was awful. I say go with caution on this site. Photos and exact description of place do not always match up. That's my experience last summer. |
